Just Because... Life is not Fair_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ by: Nelson Frech

http://jhs.moodledo.co.uk/file.php/1/College-students.jpg

Just Because…
We are students,
And we know what we say.

Just because…
Ms. Davis is a tolerant person,
It doesn’t mean she cannot get angry.

Just because…
Ms. Dickson has difficulties reading aloud,
It doesn’t mean she isn’t an excellent English teacher.

Just because…
They both make us read,
It doesn’t mean they hate us.

Just because…
They make us do note cards,
Doesn’t mean they like them,
“they make them sick”                                    (quote of ms. Davis)

Just because…
We have a low grade at IOC’s,
Doesn’t mean we are bad at it,
It’s just that Ms. Davis was sick of hearing the same repeated ideas.                 (jajajajaja :D)

Just because…
Thanksgiving has passed,
Doesn’t mean you can’t say ‘thank you’

Just because…
It is Christmas,
Doesn’t mean Santa gifts you your English grade.

Just because…
We are students,
We are forced to follow rules,
Why shouldn’t Ms. Davis?                                    (Just because poem of ms. Davis)

Just because…
We are kids,
‘Life’s not fair’.                        (whyyyy… :`( … whyyy)

The Tyranny, The Tyrant, and The Ambition

The Society

Zzidel Fazztro
On a blurry and dark night at the city of Gama, a little bee, called Nezz,  looked for a solution towards the tyranny held by Mr. Zzidel Fazztro. The times were hard, and the fellow friends of Nezz were deperate and looked for a way in which they could all have more to eat. Hunger stroke the city, as a tsunami strikes an island. No one, except for this cruel, callous, cold-blooded, and bestial guy that ruled the city, could have a plate full of nectar in each of his three meals. Then came Nezz, his intelligence brought this city into a new way of life. He was wise, fair, clever, careful, everything that anyone in that city ever wanted as a leader, but this was not something Nezz new. Everyday, he looked for a way to earn his living and the one of his family, but every time, it became harder and harder.

Days, weeks, months, even years came by and still there was no solution. That slippery, slimmy, snake was doing all what he could to make everyone’s life miserable. Jobs and stores were closing, no one had a dime to buy, and without work, work was done. The only job you could get now was to work with Mr. Fazztro and you gained nothing, but half a plate of delicious nectar daily. Everyone was tired of livving this way, especially Nezz. He hated the idea of having no food for his children nor for his wife.

It took time, but after some days, Nezz took the decision of confronting Zzidel. Everyone suppoted him and help him. Little by little, this little bee became the king and that snake was no more the tyrant. Everyone was happy, stores reopening and families had plates with all what they wanted. Gama was now a prosperous city. This was for a short amount of time, ambition got into the heart of that heroe. Nezz knew how he could manage to get his life full of gold, vicuous and sweet gold, nad this became to be a problem. Nezz was never killed nor threatened, but bees in this town were never happy again, all was satrting to reapear from how it was before.

Late at night, after a long and hard day, a knock on the door was heard. Silently and with precariousness stood this horrible, four eyed, hairy and disgusting fly. Good question to ask what was this ‘thing’ doing here? What was he looking for? Hopefully nothing that I could help in, then he started.
-       “Excuse me Sr., may I have some minutes of your precious time to ask something I would really appreciate.”
-       “Continue”, added this unwilling man with a strait voice.
-       “Sorry to interfere with you during this beautiful night full of stars, but I need your help,” the fly continued demonstrating a pain in his heart, “my name is Jean Valjean, and I have been looking throughout all the place someone that would help me. I am very hungry and I would love somewhere were I could stay to sleep. And! Do not worry; I will pay everything that you can offer to me. I have enough for what I am asking for.” Companied his Jean Valjean while holding his yellow passport with his left hand.
-       “I am so sorry… ‘Or maybe not’, but I can not help you… how can I trust you if you have that yellow paper you just showed to me? Do you realize you have that paper in order that others are being aware of what you have done? It is just impossible for me and my wife to let you in.” Continued Mr. Fat ‘the Elephant’ before shutting the door on the poor and lonely man that stood behind it.
-       “But… Sr.!!!” Exclaimed Jean Valjean.

Seconds passed away, when this desperate and lonely man knocked on the door again. Well… if you do not persevere you do not get want you want. Unfortunately Mr. Fat did not see it that way. He got mad and took his disgust off with this poor man. Opened the door with fury and yelled:
-       “Go away!!! You will never be treated as us… you are what you are… a deprived, poverty-stricken and isolated man that has to leave me and my family alone!!!”
-       “- But… sr. please help me”
-       “…But… nothing!!! Help nothing!!! You are what you eat… poor beast…”

And… Boom! This was the noise of Jean Valjean, when he fell at the floor by the knocking hit from the door. Poor Jean Valjean never got up again least for a good time.

Blog #5 - Classical Parallels

In this letter, Abigail Adams states that she misses her husband John. She also talks that the desire for liberty and tranquility are like no other desires, and this is why John should keep on until accomplishing his goal. After this, she wrote on the letter about how no one has got liberty without fighting, and it is something meant to fight for. Finally, she encloses her letter by telling John that she waits to hear from him soon.

"The great axiety I feel for my Country, for you and for our family renders the day tedious, and the night unpleasant" (Adams 676). This quote is an example of appealing to emotion, because it lets the reader now how the writer feels, and by saying what Abigail wrote, she makes us feel how she felt during that days. Appealing to emotion is very important, because if not, the letter would have no spice, it would be just boring words that form paragraphs.
"Did ever any Kingdom or State regain their Liberty, when once it was invaded without Blood shed?" (Adams 676).
This is an example of a rhetorical question because it is a question written with no aspiration of being answered. Rhetorical questions are truly important for this letter and for any work because many times by asking a question meant not to be answered we can state in a more convincing manner, or in a more expressed manner what we meant to say. In this case Abigail wanted to say to John that Liberty cannot be obtained if no blood has been spilled in the ground.

Blog #4 - Refuting Patrick Henry

Sir, let me quote A.J Muste by saying “there is no way to peace, peace is the way”. By emphasizing this quote, I would like to ask to the ones present, is there any hope? Yes there is! Minutes before, we heard Mr. Patrick Henry say that the only way to peace and liberty is by war. Sir, I have to disagree to such violent and immature mind that has given us this thought. May I ask to Mr. Henry what he has asked to us, “Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty?” Is this the way you are able to see in a wise way what is occurring to us? I believe not so. I may say that hope may be the only thing left to accomplish the goal that we have proposed. We have to look forward and keep with perseverance in search of a way to finish this hatred between people. Violence, Sir, is not the way to bring to an end this situation we are all in. Fighting has been the way to solve many problems, but I believe that it should not be the one today. Sir, we shall all bring upon an idea, a purpose and a proposal so that this extreme dislike ends. By following Mr. Henry’s idea, will we get what we want? No, war can be lost. Lives can be lost, but the most important of all, respect will be totally vanished.
Do we have the intellectual minds to say that there are other ways? We have the choice! There will always be a candle that guides us when there is no light! Sir, we shall love our people, we shall pretend to solve our problems by arguments not through violence. I may be in the correct opposition by saying that what Mr. Henry has proposed to us is thoughtless. Mr. Henry has only encountered with his ideas and what he believes of life to be, but there will always be people that prefer life without liberty that death with broken hearts. Mr. Henry, are you merciful of the people that will back you up? Are you really sacrificing their lives for a stupid idea?  Do you care about them enough to protect their families by not letting the warrior fall? I believe this is not the case. You cannot be the hand that keeps that sword from crossing over people chests, so I request you back up and retreat from what you have said. Lets end this war that never came to be! We are wise man that can come up with a wise idea that benefits not one but all of us, so lets begin! Thank you.

Headed for the Community of the Institutes of Education.
Subsequent to the unsuccessful and heartbreaking times that undergraduates experience when getting home, it is asked formally to bring upon a new divine will prohibiting the usage of unnecessary and challenging preparatory work done in a thorough manner after instructing hours. Collections of data show validity on certain effects that occur at the same time when accomplishing this sort of exertion at home. No apprentice of educative associations should be strained nor inducted to carry out such occupation. This is an aspiration commencing in some variety of people such as instructors all around the humanity. Depression has crossed and is going through more or less a minimum of one child out of thirty-three teenage minds over a maximum of one of very eight academic children attending to their responsibilities (kidshealth.org). Educative institutes should be concerned on the subject of such compilations of numerical information; if not, these organizations shall be blocked or banned for such reason that they have demonstrated no interest toward the wellbeing and steadiness of young adulthood. To meet the goal of having no extracurricular work to be done and at the same time not affecting the improvement of our young minds, we shall take into effect logic and practical labor done during scheduled hours, such as survival instincts, economics, and other activities that are more likely to become part of a human’s daily life. As well, more journeys to centers of interactive schooling shall be taken into consideration, instead of reading and trying to remember material that has been taught to apprentices only by theory and memorization. It has been proven that this way of learning has not totally accomplished the goal of coaching into material not understood by the learner.

Being aware that there will be factions of people that will be in opposition to this law, there will be a council of followers that have responsibility in checking every institute of education worldwide. They will look for instructors that do not follow the regulations expressed in clear way before. To these people, the council will take action, and take from their property, their permits of schooling. No one at all shall go up against the will of our demands and our desires for a better way of life in this world.

Everyone shall take into consideration that depression will increase in numbers and statistics. It is a problem that has to be faced upon ourselves; and no matter the consequences, we shall take to an end this sort of mental disease that has taken power over most of our young adults. If we do not accept such terms and let this virus continue, this world will eventually become sad, depressive, and negative, a heartrending world in which no one would like to live in. This is all in our hands so lets get together and look forward for a better world, in which our family will be more pleased than ever, to live in.

This, people, has probably offended some, but it has occurred that others wish this becomes active and with all my great admiration and reverence, it will!

Once upon a time, in the big city of Manhattan, Dr. Doofenshmirtz a technological genius lived at the one-hundred-and-second floor of the Empire state building. All the echoes from down below in the city were heard. This was the cause of turning Dr. Doofenshmirtz into a bad and evil manner. He hated not being able to get a long nap after eating his lunch.
During the late summer of the year 2015, a malefic doctor, called Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz had a great idea that would let him nap for long hours. He tried getting everyone at the city asleep with a gigantic machine he was creating at his apartment. Dr. Doofenshmirtz started placing piece after piece to build his machine, which he believed to be wonderful. He wanted to get peaceful dreams after lunch, which he couldn't. People were yelling, cars crashing all the time, the horns honking, and many other noises that disturbed him from getting a restful sleep at his place. Dr. Doofenshmirtz worked really hard on getting this machine done the fastest he could, but unfortunately it had problems. Instead of making people sleep, it made them hyperactive for six to ten hours. Dr. Doofenshmirtz thought about it and concluded that if they were hyperactive for some time they will eventually fall asleep. He thought that it was a perfect plan to be able to live in a peaceful environment, with no noise and with no cars at high velocities. Then, he thought... "What am I going to do meanwhile they are hyperactive?" He started to worry about if his plan will work, which would not. He decided to continue working on his project and after hours were being wasted at trying to get his machine done, he accomplished his goal. The machine worked perfectly, and he will now be able to sleep with out the noise of these big cities in which he lived. After preparing for the first shot, Dr. Doofenshmirtz received a surprise, his archenemy Perry the Platypus. This was the last thing that he wanted.
"No. It's Perry!!!” yelled Dr. Doofenshmirtz. "You will not interrupt me. I want to get a peaceful sleep no matter the cost of it so fight!!!" Perry answered, "Grrrrrr...".
Perry and the doctor started fighting to have control of the machine, which this evil villain had created. Perry finally got control of it, but Dr. Doofenshmirtz had the opportunity to press the action button, which he did. What he did not notice was that there was a mirror at the other side. The ray reflected and stroke at the doctor. He will now be unable to wake up from his sleep and Perry the Platypus took advantage of it. Dr. Doofenshmirtz is now a captive of Perry and is dressed with a wedding dress, lipstick, and all the stuff girls’ use. Perry is enjoying his new life with his new mannequin of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz ready to get married. Everyone got what he or she wanted, Dr. Doofenshmirtz is now sleeping peacefully and the city has not stopped working.

Driver Kills 8 on Race!!!
http://edition.cnn.com/2010/US/08/16/california.racing.deaths/index.html#fbid=c3UYRS9Y6YM&wom=false

*Screen Shot from video in the same URL from were the article comes from.

Not even a week ago, a driver at California, USA ran through a bunch of people leaving four severely harmed people and eight were dead. This driver in known as Brett Sloppy, and he said that he feels destroyed by what had occurred. U.S Authorities will not charge him for this accident since it was a legal event. Unfortunately, many families are now in a state that no one would like to be because of their loss. Not only this people, but everyone that was during the event suffered traumas as said by a man present. He declared how he felt that night and  his difficulties to sleep without thinking of the event.

This article lacks of vital information such as if something could have occurred to the vehicle that impeded the driver from evading the accident. The writer who was in charge of this article could have a bias against charging the driver, because he mostly defends the way in which people that suffered consequences feel toward the driver. He wrote a quotation from a friend of an injured and killed person, this friend bolds the idea of people having total knowledge of the risk that everyone takes.

After analyzing the events that occurred during the race, it is fine to say that a crime is a crime. No person that has committed a murder should be left without charges. The law should defend the one that has been harmed not the one that has harmed.
