We are students,
And we know what we say.
Just because…
Ms. Davis is a tolerant person,
It doesn’t mean she cannot get angry.
Just because…
Ms. Dickson has difficulties reading aloud,
It doesn’t mean she isn’t an excellent English teacher.
Just because…
They both make us read,
It doesn’t mean they hate us.
Just because…
They make us do note cards,
Doesn’t mean they like them,

Doesn’t mean we are bad at it,

It is Christmas,
Doesn’t mean Santa gifts you your English grade.

We are students,
We are forced to follow rules,
